The way of life is not something that can be possessed by just anyone, nor is it easily obtainable by all. That is because life can only come from God, which is to say, only God Himself possesses the substance of life, there is no way of life without God Himself, and so only God is the source of life, and the ever-flowing wellspring of living water of life. From when He created the world, God has done much work involving the vitality of life, has done much work that brings life to man, and has paid a great price so that man might gain life, for God Himself is eternal life, and God Himself is the way by which man is resurrected. God is never absent from the heart of man, and lives among man at all times. He has been the driving force of man’s living, the fundament of man’s existence, and a rich deposit for man’s existence after birth. He causes man to be reborn, and enables him to tenaciously live in his every role. Thanks to His power, and His inextinguishable life force, man has lived for generation after generation, throughout which the power of God’s life has been the mainstay of man’s existence, and for which God has paid a price that no ordinary man has ever paid. God’s life force can prevail over any power; moreover, it exceeds any power. His life is eternal, His power extraordinary, and His life force not easily overwhelmed by any created being or enemy force. The life force of God exists, and shines its brilliant radiance, regardless of time or place. God’s life remains forever unchanged throughout the upheavals of heaven and earth. All things pass away, but God’s life still remains, for God is the source of the existence of all things, and the root of their existence. Man’s life originates from God, the existence of the heaven is because of God, and the existence of the earth stems from the power of God’s life. No object possessed of vitality can transcend the sovereignty of God, and no thing with vigor can break away from the ambit of God’s authority. In this way, regardless of who they are, everyone must submit under the dominion of God, everyone must live under God’s command, and no one can escape from His control.

     Almighty God says, "God does not continue the same work. His work changes continuously, and he always does new works. For example, every day I speak new words to you and do new works on you. This is the work I do, which is mainly characterized by being 'new' and 'peculiar.' The word, 'God is ever unchanging, and God is God after all,' is absolutely true. God's essence does not change, God is God after all, and he cannot become satan. But these do not prove that his work is ever unchanging as his essence is. On October 23, 2017, at a meeting on "Religious Freedom and Refugee Human Rights" held in South Korea, Ms. Rosita Šorytė, who had represented the Interim Lithuanian President as Chairman of the EU Working Group on Humanitarian Assistance, stated in her speech, "According to the 2004 Guidelines of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the 1987 UN Refugee Convention, for a persecuted religious group, members of The Church of Almighty God (CAG) have clearly been subject to the persecution of torture, a higher severity of iniquity than social persecution, thus more deserving of being granted refugee status." Šorytė mentioned that the Republic of Korea is a respected democracy that has also signed and ratified the 1951 Refugee Convention and the 1967 Protocol. It should fulfill its responsibilities in accordance with these international documents. If the persecuted Christians of CAG are repatriated to mainland China, it is utterly a crime!

      "Kid! Do you know that the Communist Party is atheist and against belief in God? In China, what God is there for you to believe in? Where is this God of yours?" With electric rods in hands, the Chinese Communist police rush this youngster who is covered with bruises.

    This youngster's name is Gao Liang and he was 17 years old that year. He was on his way home from spreading the gospel with an older brother when he was arrested by the Chinese Communist police. The police did not give him anything to eat nor allowed him to sleep for three days and three nights. They interrogated him, tried to extort a confession from him and subjected him to cruel torture. They even used electric rods to shock him on his chin, both his hands and his lower area. They tried to force him to betray God and give them information regarding the church leaders and the financial resources of the church through blackmailing him. This involved threatening to arrest his parents and to get his school to expel him. Unable to achieve its objectives, the Chinese Communist government sentenced him to one year of reeducation through labor. While in prison, not only did Gao Liang endure excessive labor requirements, he was also humiliated and tormented. In the prison, Gao Liang experienced what can only be called hell on earth. During this painful refinement, Gao Liang prayed to God and relied on God. Almighty God's words enlightened him to understand God's intentions. It gave him faith and strength and it guided him so that he could get through the one year he was in prison. The Chinese Communist government's persecution and arrest are engraved in Gao Liang's heart. He sees clearly and deeply experienced the evil essence of the Chinese Communist government and its antagonism toward God. In this world where Satan's powers hold sway, only God loves man the most. Only God can save man. His faith and will to follow God became even more resolute. Gao Liang says that these trials and tribulations are valuable treasures for his life growth and development. It was a special present that God gave him for his 17th year …

 My entire management plan, which spans six thousand years, consists of three phases, or three ages: first, the Age of Law; second, the Age of Grace (which is also the Age of Redemption); and finally, the Age of Kingdom. My work in these three ages differs according to the nature of each age, but at each stage it accords with man’s needs—or rather, it varies according to the tricks that Satan employs in My war against it. The purpose of My work is to defeat Satan, to make manifest My wisdom and omnipotence, to expose all Satan’s tricks and thereby to save all of humanity, which lives under its domain. It is to show My wisdom and omnipotence while at the same time revealing the hideousness of Satan. Moreover, it is to teach My creations to discriminate between good and evil, to recognize that I am the Ruler of all things, to see clearly that Satan is humanity's foe, the lowest of the low, the evil one, and to make the difference between good and evil, truth and falsehood, holiness and filth, greatness and baseness, as clear as day. This way, ignorant humanity may bear witness to Me that it is not I who corrupt humanity, and only I—the Creator—can save humanity, can bestow upon them things for enjoyment; and they may come to know that I am the Ruler of all things and Satan is merely one of My creations, which later turned against Me. My six-thousand-year management plan is divided into three stages in order to achieve the following effect: to allow My creations to be My witnesses, to know My will, to see that I am the truth.
